Howard Hau-Hsueh Yen, DMD, Dip. ABP

My name is Howard Yen, and I’m a board-certified Periodontist & Dental Implant Surgeon by the American Board of Periodontology. Throughout the years of practice, I was fortunate enough to receive extensive clinical experiences in managing and collaborating with other dental/medical specialists on complicated periodontal/dental cases. At the same time, I learned to love my profession and maintain my passion for dentistry & periodontics every single day.

I believe in honesty, transparency, empathy, comfort and patience above all else when it comes to formulating the individualized treatment plan options for every patient. I am well-versed in full scope of treatment options in the field of Periodontics ranging from the classic tried & true to the most cutting-edge techniques and technologies.

I’m constantly staying on top of the current dental/periodontal literature & research, also dedicating my time in education to help train the next generation of dental/periodontal providers by providing weekly clinical instructions at Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

I also enjoy providing dental care services to underserved communities with my wife, who’s a Pediatric dentist. Fun fact, we spent our honeymoon period providing free dental cares overseas.
